The Global Environment Facility, an independent financial institution  was established in 1991 in order to address global environmental issues.It provides grants for projects related to biodiversity, climate change, the ozone layer and pollution. We worked together on a Hungarian project in cooperation with the Ministry of Environment and Water (now called Ministry of Rural Development).
