WAZ Media, active on the Hungarian market for 20 years, owns Pannon Lapok Társasága Ltd., a highly successful  publisher of regional papers. It publishes 5 daily papers: Fejér Megyei Hírlap, Dunaújvárosi Hírlap, Napló, Vas Népe and Zalai hírlap in 4 western counties.Its portfolio also contains  RTV-Tipp, a weekly Radio and TV programme magazine, Vasárnap Reggel, a weekend magazine as well as several free city papers edited by Maraton Lapcsoport. In 2003 WAZ bought 75+1% stake in HVG, the leading business weekly of Hungary, thus strenghtened its position.
