In 2004 the Transdanubian Regional Waterworks (Dunántúli Regionális Vízmű Zrt.)created a consortium with the local authorities of 6 settlements: Gárdony, Kápolnásnyék, Nadap, Pázmánd, Sukoró and Velence. They applied for an EU tender in order to renew the sewage system of the area.
