The Hungarian State sends yearly 50 scholarship holders abroad to small Hungarian communities in the Carpathian Basin (Petőfi Programme) and 100 to Hungarian communities around the world (Kőrösi Programme) to strengthen the communities’ Hungarian identity and their bonds to the mother country. Our task is to inform the public in and outside Hungary about the results of the two Programmes. We have created the Programme website and Facebook page and operate them as editorial offices. At milestones we issue press releases and organize interviews or media appearances. In the two Programmes (since September 2015) we have published 2,100 related news items, several hundred photos and 220 videos. The Facebook page has over 5,000 fans.
